Hi there. My name is Ava Goumas and I am a rising Senior at Saint Francis High School and am passionate about neuroscience. Inspired by my work with the National Charity League and other philanthropic organizations, I devote myself to the neurodiverse community. My combined interest in the human brain and serving this community are the inspiration for my latest research and humanitarian project which focuses on the comorbidity of Autism and epilepsy. Aside from academics and volunteer work, I dance six days per week, teach Tiny Toes dance classes to toddlers on weekends, and make the best chocolate chip cookies in the world. My academic plans include studying neuroscience undergrad and attending medical school to perform neurosurgery on tiny humans.
